1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RunwayRides ("the Platform"), operated by RunwayRides LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What RunwayRides Is (and Isn't)

RunwayRides is a matching platform that connects airline passengers traveling in similar directions from the same airport. We facilitate introductions between users who may wish to share ground transportation.

We are NOT:

• A transportation company, taxi service, or rideshare provider
• A party to any ride arrangement between users
• Responsible for the conduct, safety, or reliability of any user
• An employer or agent of any user on the Platform

Any ride-sharing arrangement made through the Platform is a private agreement between individual users. RunwayRides has no involvement in, and assumes no liability for, these arrangements.

3. User Eligibility & Verification

To use RunwayRides, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide your real, legal name
• Provide a valid phone number that you control
• Provide a valid flight number for matching purposes
• Provide accurate and truthful information at all times

We reserve the right to verify any information you provide and to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. User Responsibilities

When using RunwayRides, you agree to:

• Treat all other users with respect and courtesy
• Honor ride-sharing commitments you make through the Platform
• Share costs fairly as agreed upon with your matched riders
• Communicate promptly regarding any changes to your travel plans
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT use RunwayRides to:

• Operate an unlicensed commercial transportation service
• Solicit riders for commercial gain outside of legitimate cost-sharing
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Provide false identity information or impersonate another person
• Use the Platform for any illegal activity
• Discriminate against other users based on race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
• Collect or harvest other users' personal information
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Platform

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

6. Assumption of Risk

You understand that RunwayRides does not screen, background-check, or vet users beyond basic information verification. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability and trustworthiness of any person you choose to share a ride with.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• RunwayRides LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any ride-sharing arrangement.
• This includes, without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, lost profits, loss of data, or other intangible losses.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to RunwayRides in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RunwayRides LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Platform
• Any ride-sharing arrangement you enter into
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or regulation
• Your violation of any rights of a third party

9. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.

You and RunwayRides LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property matters.

• Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
• Arbitration shall take place in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
• The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that matches will be available for your route.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
